This is free of any issues. The underside of the lid has a bit of tarnish but the top is shiny and bright. The jar is clean, but should be sanitized prior to food storage. There is only a smidgen of tape residue on it, from when we moved. We pack everything like it is fragile, even if it isn't. This will be wrapped with lots of TLC! 10 inches x 6 inches. Useful for storing candy and cookies, scoop-able ingredients like flour or sugar. It can stand with lid up or at a reach-in angle. Great for 50's kitchen and would be super in a Hoosier.
