This piece is deceptively lightweight. It features a faux-marble look, but I think it is made from paper or styrofoam or composite material of some form. Vintage and very fine condition. I have no provenance on this piece. The rough edges and texture are intentionally designed to make this art look like it is an ancient artifact. The image is transferred onto the surface and is in faded soft tone colors to give it a realistic old antique style look.
